As a late adopter of the flat screen TV, finally being able to consign my aged 28 inch Sony Trinitron (all the rage a few years ago) to the council bulky waste pickup people was a big moment, almost as big as the box that housed my new Samsung LCD TV.

Delivery; well I actually arranged for express, which certainly was that, with it arriving around 9:10 the morning after the order was placed, so that was nice! Set up is very easy, though I did have to first build a stand to sit my new pride and joy on. The set looks great and is a stylish addition to most living rooms. It is of course slightly frustrating to not be able to fully utilise high-end HD technology when so much of Digital TV is standard def. However, when hooked via HDMI to my Xbox 360 the picture is truly exceptional, as is the sound in terms of clarity. I do of course fully intend to upgrade in due course to Sky HD and Blu-Ray, but one set of big costs at a time! I would thoroughly recommend this set. Looks great both in terms of picture and styling.

Som en sen adoptant af fladskærms-tv, endelig at kunne indlevere min alder 28 tommer Sony Trinitron (alle raseri et par år siden) til Rådet storskrald pickup folk var et stort øjeblik, næsten lige så stor som den boks, der rummede min nye Samsung LCD TV.

Levering, godt jeg faktisk sørget for udtrykkeligt, som helt sikkert var, at med den ankommer omkring 9:10 om morgenen, efter at bestillingen blev afgivet, så det var dejligt! Opsætning er meget let, selvom jeg var nødt til at først at bygge et stativ til at sidde min nye stolthed og glæde på. Sættet ser flot ud og er en stilfuld ud til de fleste stuer. Det er naturligvis lidt frustrerende ikke at være i stand til fuldt ud at udnytte high-end HD-teknologi, når så meget af digitalt tv er standard def. Men når hooked via HDMI til min Xbox 360 på billedet er virkelig usædvanlig, som det er lyd i form af klarhed. Jeg naturligvis fuldt ud til hensigt at opgradere sin tid til Sky HD og Blu-Ray, men et sæt af store omkostninger på et tidspunkt! Jeg vil grundigt anbefale dette sæt. Ser flot ud både med hensyn til billede og styling.
